Hygloss Products, the leader in unique arts and crafts supplies, today announced the hiring of Teresa Kietlinski Dikun as art director. In her new role, Ms. Dikun will be responsible for product development and packaging design.
Ms. Dikun brings extensive experience in art direction and creative development to her new position. Before joining Hygloss Products, Ms. Dikun designed children's books and promotional materials for the publishing industry at Disney-Hyperion, Dial Books for Young Readers, Viking Children's Books, William Morrow and Company, St. Martin's Press, Bloomsbury Children's, Roaring Brook Press, Puffin Books, and Razorbill.
Ms. Dikun has designed and art directed hundreds of children's books of all sizes and shapes, and has worked with well-known talents including Kevin Sherry, David Sonam, LeUyen Pham, Boris Kulikov, Kadir Nelson, Brian Karas and Amy Young.
Her recent book achievements include several New York Times Bestsellers including: "Listen to the Wind", "Three Cups of Tea", "Ladybug Girl", and "Savvy". Over twenty of her books have been chosen for the prestigious Original Art Show curated by the Society of Illustrators in New York.
Ms. Dikun graduated from Rutgers University with an English and Journalism double-major. Due to her extensive knowledge and experience, she has been selected to speak at numerous SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators)
