21 the Producer is an 18 yr. old hip-hop, R & B and pop music producer from Phoenix, Arizona. His first national notoriety came from him beating out some 400 competitors and winning second place in Sha Money XL's annual One Stop Shop producer conference. His second place performance also made him the youngest producer to be a finalist at the conference.
In early 2008, 21 the Producer was sought after by West Coast rapper Mr. Short Khop to produce his new single. The resulting single, 'Donkey Talk" is digitally released through I-Tunes and has been featured on DubCNN.com.
21 the Producer produced the title track "Mr. Pig Face" on the much awaited EP by West Coast rapper Crooked I. Crooked I, who is a member of the super group Slaughterhouse immediately chose the beat upon hearing it while in a music studio with 21 in the Phoenix area. A video has been completed for the song which along with the EP is scheduled for release November 10, 2009.
21 the Producer is in good position to make a difference in the industry. In addition to Crooked I and Mr. Short Khop, 21 has provided his production talent to artist like The Game, Ice Cube, WC, Mike Jones, Juice, and Gucci Mane.
