There’s a hot discussion going on in Internet

In Its Nature, the Papal Church Is Anti-Christian!

While in Germany the media is still putting up a silent front (perhaps shock is what paralyses them), in many other countries there a hot discussion going on over the question: “How Christian Is the Church?” The starting point to all this was the recent lawsuit served up by the Free Christians for the Christ of the Sermon on the Mount in All Cultures Worldwide against the archbishopric of Freiburg. As reported, (www.Christ-or-Church.de) they are calling upon the Catholic Church to cease and desist calling itself “Christian.”

In the Spanish language, supporters and detractors of the Church are in the midst of a hot exchange scattered throughout 20 Internet Forums and newspapers from Spain to Argentina to Chile and the USA. The same is happening in the French language in France, Belgium and Canada, or in English, particularly in the USA.

What is surprising is the echo coming out of Poland, which until now was always considered a deeply Catholic country. On Wolnemedia.net, for example, at this time there is no one defending the Catholic Church; many assume, at all events, that the Free Christians may very well be counted among the Protestants. (Soon, they will notice this is not so). One participant in the discussions taking place writes: “If these people come through with this, we will have to count on a lot of changes.” Another one wonders: “Perhaps this is the beginning of the end of the Catholic Church?”

But even the printed word isn’t totally quiet. The weekly paper Fakty i mity – (“Facts and Myths,” www.faktyi-mity.pl) which claims to be non-clerical, reacted on October 2, 2009 to a readers poll under the headline “Anti-Christian Church” and collected arguments covering a whole page as to why, “in its nature, the Papal Church is anti-Christian.” The power of the Church rests on fire and sword; its rituals and structures are not based on the Bible but on paganism and its founder was not Peter, but Emperor Constantine.

We can wonder how long the media in Germany – distracted by the elections and apparently, still influenced to a great extent by the Church – will be able to keep this topic under wraps – above all when in a few days, the Lutheran Church will also be taken to court …

Free Christians work to rehabilitate the name of Jesus, the Christ, in view of the centuries-old abuse of His name. Christian institutions use His name but do not practice His teaching. Jesus said: The one who does my words. This has not been followed.
