Quantek Systems have launched a new roller shutter remote control system the Rollatek RC1000. Operating on the 868 MHz frequency band it is not subject to the ever increasing interference in the commonly used 433 MHz frequency band, it uses transmitters with separate open, close and stop buttons and the transmitter has a sliding cover to prevent accidental pressing of the buttons. The Rollatek RC1000 can control tubular motors with a power rating of up to 500W, a deadman (man present) closing option and the facility to connect photoelectric safety sensors ensure the unit is complient with safety requirements.
