Doylestown, PA - October 9 - Thompson BMW of Doylestown, PA will hold an exclusive area showing of BMW’s newest ground-breaking product, the 550i Gran Turismo. On Thursday, October 22, from 6 to 8pm, attendees will get the first look at the all-new Gran Turismo and will have the opportunity ask questions about the car’s innovative features. The 5 Series Gran Turismo combines the agility of a coupe, the elegant interior of a sedan and the flexible space of an SAV. With a long wheelbase, frameless windows and graceful, contemporary roofline, the car is definitely a stand-out. Inside, drivers will find spacious leg room, premium materials and all the luxuries typically expected in a BMW.
Through their EfficientDynamics initiative – a commitment to environmental responsibility – BMW has discovered how efficiency and performance can co-exist. With an innovative twin turbo V-8 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, the Gran Turismo can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds, yet still delivers remarkable fuel efficiency in everyday driving.
Revolutionary innovations include night vision that senses pedestrians, Active Blind Spot Detection which helps avoid collisions and Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go enhanced break warning. According to Kelly, “This innovative niche vehicle from BMW will appeal to many of our customers.”
