Off the Vine is a company passionate about food and wine on the west coast.

Founded by Publisher Jennifer Anne Shorr who has worked as a professional chef, wine buyer and restaurant manager, as an owner, she has worked with legendary restaurateur and consultant George Lang in opening “La Tache” - the first freestanding wine bar in Los Angeles. Jennifer also opened a branch of the fondly remembered “Faire la Cuisine” Restaurant and gourmet emporium in 1981. Her passion, taste, experience, and broad range of culinary knowledge, drives this magazine and its “insiders” viewpoint.

Since her first trip to Europe in 1972, Jennifer has traveled the world exploring wine, food, and culture around the world.

Off the Vine Magazine maintains west coast offices in the Napa Valley.
