The Payment Protection Insurance Scandal Continues

Milton firman has set up "action for payment protection insurance claimants"

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct 09, 2009 -
Milton Firman who recently set up A.P.P.I.C (Action for Payment Protection Insurance Claimants) is determined that the FSA should be accountable for what has happened and is now threatening Judicial Review Proceedings in the High Court.

He said today "The FSA have just ordered a repayment of £60 million from insurers in respect of unfair rises in premiums.  But this is not addressing the real problem.  For years PPI has been flagrantly and fraudulently mis-sold to unsuspecting members of the public who often got nothing back when they made a claim and frequently did not even know what they had been sold or why.  It is a scandal which went unnoticed or ignored by the FSA."

What aggravates the situation even more is the fact that claims for mis-selling, though legitimate, are now currently being ignored by the same companies.  Firman continues:

"They are a disgrace.  They know full well that the claims for compensation must be paid but they either ignore or delay in their final tactic designed to abuse the public.  The FSA need to intervene or I will."
