Europe’s leading RFID supplier, Bibliotheca RFID Library Systems, establishes UK operation

The move will bring improved customer support, maintenance and product supply to Bibliotheca’s UK client base from 1 October 2009.  Bibliotheca specialises in developing, producing and marketing software and hardware for automation, inventory taking, and control and media security in libraries and will be supplying customer-specific state-of the art RFID solutions encompassing both hardware and software to the UK market. A number of prestigious libraries, such as the award-winning new Newcastle City Library, already use Bibliotheca equipment.

We undertook a review of the service we provide to the UK market and believe that customers will receive greater benefits through us establishing a direct presence in the UK.”
To aid a smooth transition to the UK, library and RFID systems specialist Axiell will provide onsite support to UK customers from its Nottingham and Dorset offices whilst Bibliotheca gears-up its UK operation.

Bibliotheca is contacting all UK customers directly to provide them with details on the company, product portfolio, expertise and contact information.  Staff will also be available at the Bibliotheca stand at the CILIP RFID in Libraries conference at Kings Place, London on 10 November.
