Oct 09, 2009 – NSA 3110 has been created as a reliable, yet low-cost hardware platform that is capable of hosting most small/medium sized Network Security Applications. Based on the Intel® G41 and ICH7R Chipsets the new NSA 3110 can support a multitude of powerful CPU’s including Intel®
Core™ 2 Quad, Core™ 2 Duo, Pentium® Dual-Core and Celeron®. This feature, coupled with the platform’s 8 LAN ports, means the NSA 3110 can easily be configured for various applications within network security including Firewall, VPN Network load balance, Mail Filter, Anti-virus and many more.
Housed in a 1U 19” rackmount chassis, NSA 3110 has 8 high-speed LAN ports with 4 bypass segments. For expansion purposes NSA 3110 can support 1 x PCI-E*8 and Mini-PCI, and for enhanced performance this high-performance platform supports DDR-3 memory up to 4GB.
Like all Nexcom Network Appliances, the NSA 3110 is certified for use with Windows, Linux and Free BSD operating systems and can be customized or re-branded to meet customer requirements.
