PR Log (Press Release) –
Oct 08, 2009 – The fear of contracting deadly flu and other life threatening microorganisms is a worldwide problem that has grown to significant proportions due to the current H1N1 flu pandemic and rise in more drug resistant infectious diseases. The flu shot is a good match for only about 40 percent of flu viruses. In Africa many parishioners have stopped receiving communion entirely. Interviews with Monks in Catholic Monasteries have revealed that some Monks have stopped partaking of the communal wine chalice during the communion service due to the fear of germs.
Church leaders and congregations have been aware of the consequences surrounding this problem for decades, but have not been able to offer a completely safe solution. The reduction in communion service participation has also resulted in a decrease in church attendance and giving, partially due to the embarrassment of not wanting to receive communion. Many churches are witnessing a financial crisis of epic proportions due to the current global financial situation. Churches are observing a reduction in giving by as much as 30 percent and have been forced to make staff and salary cuts.
Agnus Dei Church Supplies was established in 2009 to provide clergy and missionaries with the first-of-its-
kind Communalabra™ Germ-Free Communion Host Dispensing System. Our unstoppable commitment to innovation, creating new technologies and products, places us exactly where clergy and congregations need us. Agnus Dei Germ-Free Communion Dispensing Solutions™ are expected to impact communion participation, church attendance and donations that could reach historic proportions worldwide.
Other communion host dispensers have fallen short of providing a satisfactory solution. They are only capable of dispensing the less popular and more expensive 1-3/8" communion host, they are not faithfully designed to preserve the holiness of the sacrament, they are not made of metal and plated with 24KT gold and silver to meet the new standards of the Catholic Church, they do not provide a germ free Quick-n-Easy Re-fill System™, they will not hold a minimum of 150 communion hosts and they do not have a limited lifetime warranty.
We have also developed an embroidered carrying case and patent pending embroidered cloth covers for use with the Communalabra™ and other altar products.
