The first-time homebuyer federal tax credit is available to all homebuyers who haven't owned a home in the past three years, for up to an additional $8,000 in savings. However, homebuyers must act quickly as the federal tax credit has only been approved until Nov. 30, 2009. Lennar’s preferred lender, UAMC of California, is currently accepting loans for November closings.
