On Board with Support: Rosa Snow is Making a Statement in the Winter Sports Industry

Oct. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and there are many ways for people to show their support in the research and awareness of breast cancer. One unique way for those who participate in winter sports such as snowboarding and skiing is to purchase and wear Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) items.

Although the color “pink” is typically associated with breast cancer, B4BC items run the color palette and often include artist-collaboration prints and designs. Most companies have dedicated one or more products to represent their B4BC support, where a portion of the sale is donated to B4BC. These products range from goggles to shirts to jackets.

Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) was created in honor of Bonfire Clothing co-founder Monica Steward, who passed away from breast cancer at the age of 26. All Bonfire clothing is B4BC.
