PRLog (Press Release) - Oct 08, 2009 -
We are a non-profit organisation that uses storytelling to motivate families and educators to reconnect children with nature. Our stories are about real people and real photography, as opposed to illustrations and computer-generated imagery.

Kids of Nature's new children's book 'Enya & James - In The Land Of Magic' (http://www.kidsofnature.org/News_1120000000_25_Book+Enya+...)
is ready and will go to print on 20 October to be available from 27 November. I invite you to join us in this exciting project so that we can reach more children and families.

-Why this action is so important-
Kids of Nature addresses one of the key issues of today's society: Nature Deficit Disorder (NDD)* - the alienation of children from their natural environment resulting in emotional imbalance, violence, mismanagement of natural resources and climate change. NDD which is affecting children at all levels of society. Increasing numbers of young children already suffer from obesity, depression and attention deficit disorder. If we want to contribute to building a healthy country, we must deal with the issue of NDD now.
