The 55+ population is changing dramatically – the first Boomers turned 50 in 2006 and behind them is a tidal wave of Americans heading towards redefining the 55+ demographic. The number of Americans age 55 and over is expected to jump from 67 million in 2005 to 97 million in 202. This huge and powerful group of consumers is forcing today’s professionals to sit up and take notice. Today, every business in America must ask itself, “Are we prepared to serve consumers over age 55?”
The CSA Summit is designed to help professionals begin that journey. You’ll find an array of the latest thinking, advice and solutions delivered by dynamic and notable experts. The CSA Summit 2009 gives you information that you can learn today and apply tomorrow to take your business and your performance to new heights.
The CSA Summit will feature a total of 11 amazing speakers with several renowned keynote speakers. Our seminars are separated into two tracks focusing on Aging in America and Business Bottom Lines, two topics that the community of CSAs expressed a need for. About SCSA
SCSA was established in 1997 to enhance education and standards among professionals working with senior citizens. SCSA’s mission is to educate professionals to work more effectively with their senior clients. We believe that the right kind of planning, recommendations and referrals can make aging a state to be savored instead of a fate to fear. For those who work with seniors, this means understanding the key health, social and financial factors that are important to seniors—and how these factors work together. CSAs are able to integrate this into their professional practices, no matter what field they’re in. They’ve learned how incredibly gratifying it is to help seniors achieve their goals, and the seniors they’ve worked with have learned how important it is to work with someone who truly understands their age-related circumstances.
