Oct. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- (LOS ANGELES, CA) – Teruo (pronounced “TEH-ROO-OH”) Artistry and its music division, Semper Somnio, has entered into a league of its own announcing the release of its mixtape, Endangered Species, set to drop November 3rd.  The mixtape, which features lyrical content by Watts’ bred Six Reasons, San Francisco born Prophet and stylistic production from Bay Area native, Brian “Deep” Watters (Deep H20Z) will be hosted by none other than Hip-Hop DJ/Producer extraordinaire, DJ Skee who has worked with the likes of Jay-Z, Akon and The Game to name a few.  Six Reasons, Prophet and Deep H2OZ reclaim the industry over sultry synths, unforgettable hooks and mesmerizing bass lines that confidently secure their position as leaders in a new age of lyricists and producers.
When it comes to an industry oversaturated by “here today, gone tomorrow” artists, it’s even more of a challenge to standout amongst the crowd.  Gimmicks, cookie-cutter artists, fabricated beefs via Twitter/Facebook and uninspiring music have flooded the music scene, until now.  Six Reasons, Prophet, Deep H2OZ and their Teruo Artistry sponsored mixtape Endangered Species, addresses the void in Hip-Hop, the need for true musicianship and talent in order to keep a dying genre alive.  Tracks such as the Endangered Species introductory track with DJ Skee and “If I Never Get Rich” by Six Reasons, make prolific statements about the true artists that are on the brink of extinction.
“We felt the title of the album, Endangered Species best depicts us and the current climate of the industry.  Six coined the phrase and we ran with it,” states Teruo Artistry CEO and Producer Brian “Deep” Watters (Deep H20Z).  “It was a no brainer to collaborate with our longtime friend, Skee who reached out and has been extremely supportive of our movement.”
“The time is finally upon us as I bring you Prophet, Six Reasons and Deep H2OZ,” adds DJ Skee.  “In this music game we are an endangered species right now, so enjoy it while it lasts.”
Six Reasons, Prophet and Deep H2OZ are bringing real music back with their Endangered Species mixtape.  With DJ Skee, one of the most profound figures in the DJ/Hip-Hop community, they will not rest until they dominate the music industry and Hip-Hop world.  Endangered Species will be available via digital download for free on the Teruo Artistry website as well as www.djskee.com and www.sempersomnio.com beginning November 3, 2009.  The mixtape also features limited edition artwork by artist Timothy Teruo Watters (TTW).
