Gorman runs with Shades of Luz Blog

Creating a buzz for a new book is a hug undertaking in these times. To simply get some word out there is easy, but it's hard to find the right channels and John Gorman is brave enough and kind enough to share his firsthand experience.

"I feel like I've been asked to go scuba-diving in the deep ocean with only my snorkel and flippers, but it's definitely been a learning experience," says Gorman. "I really love writing and I have gone to reading before and been somewhat connected to publishing, but this is all new to me. Social media is a big plus, but it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Sometimes it's just good to jot down with paper and pen in your datebook. To change things up."

It's been 5 weeks since "Shades of Luz" has gone into print. reviews have been good, some exceptional. John has 3 author interviews lines up and a few readings on the horizon.
