The Masher is a large Marlin lure which can also act as a teaser. The Masher is a traditional plunger style head shape that is customizable with 8 different abalone inlays and 16 skirt color options. CanyonGear secured the original masters and molds to re-introduce this worldwide Marlin producing lure from Compleat Angler in West Palm Beach, FL. Compleat Angler trusted CanyonGear to re-introduce the famous line-up of their lures which have roots from the famous Murray LNG line. The Masher falls between the original LNG1 and the LNG2 in size. Shortly, the Crusher will follow into the line-up which is a smaller version of the Masher and a true LNG 2 size.
Also, just launched is the new Hoo Machine which is a famous offset center hole bullet style lure for front running with a ballyhoo bait. Many new features such as protruding holographic eyes, internal weighted insert, bored and tapered end stock, which can be either, covered in 10 abalone shell or holographic tapes with corresponding head tinting. All Hoo Machines are skirted with our nylon lustrous Diamond hair in 12 colors.
All of CanyonGear's custom lures can now be ordered in the world famous Petrolero head and skirt colors, as well, all of the lures in CanyonGear’s lines can be ordered in a soft head version known as CanyonSoft a new premium soft urethane. The new soft urethane is stabilized, non-yellowing and tear proof.
