San Diego and Costa Mesa, CA –BeneTrac, a Paychex company and provider of powerful, web-based electronic enrollment and employee benefits administration software, today announced Worth Houghton as regional sales director for Orange County and Inland Empire in California. Houghton will work with brokers, carriers, human resources professionals, and benefits administrators. He will consult with and help them to migrate from traditional paper-laden or other less automated systems to BeneTrac’s employee benefits management technology.
Well-known in the software and insurance industries, Costa Mesa-based Houghton draws on nearly 20 years of experience. Formerly, he was an account executive at a software company, where he developed new accounts and managed existing customers in healthcare, insurance, and manufacturing. Houghton also worked as an account executive at FileNet Corporation (now owned by IBM) and held positions in the insurance industry at Cigna Healthcare, Confederation Life, and Great-West Life, where he worked directly with brokers and developed over 200 new mid-market customers throughout the southwest region.

Houghton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the Orange County Employee Benefits Council.
