In central Marrakech, riads and hotels such as Riad Ksiba and Dar Wards are offering free nights at the end of guests’ stays as well as selected free dinners during the stays. Often other special offers are available on request from the owners of these raids.
Also in Marrakech, more luxury hotels and riads such as Jnane Tamsna, Ksar Char-Bagh and Ana Yela have all launched special offers of extra nights’ stay and other special offerings for guests.
For Morocco food lovers, riads and hotels in Marrakech such as Riyad El Mezouar and Riad Ksiba offer attractive room special offers for the rest of the year as well as cookery classes and demonstrations.
Outside central Marrakech, hotel retreats such as Tigmi are offering 25% discounts for stays of over 4 nights as well as 20% discounts from all spa treatments. Dar Ihlam, also on the outskirts of the city, a riad hotel with pool, lounging area and air-conditioning throughout, is offering a 20% discount to its list prices.
An hour’s drive in Morocco’s second city of Fes, Riad Numero 9 and Riad Ibn Battouta are offering between 1 and 2 extra free nights of accommodation for stays of 4-6 days. Riad Les Oudayas, with its plunge pool and hammam, offers discounted room until the end of the year.
Morocco’s Atlantic coast is also perfect for an autumn visit, with the crowds having gone but the African sun still shining. Essaouira hotels such as The hotel Villa Allun offers a 10% discount of all room rates for the rest of 2009. Madada Mogador, a modern and stylish hotel with a zen ambiance theme, will provide guests with a free lunch and other refreshments during their stay. In the same town, the hotel Ocean Vagabond offers free nights’ accommodation as well as oriental massage for guests.
For travellers looking to experience the Morocco desert and other remote areas, the hotel Auberge Derkoaua in Erfoud and Les Jardins de Skoura are offering 10% reductions to list prices regardless of length of stay. Ksar Jenna, a rural hotel retreat with gardens of rose beds, orange trees and bougainvilleas, offers a 20% discount to room prices between the 1 November and 20 December. Here, children aged 12 and under can stay in parents room for free.
