FSINN 1.3 and FSCopilot 1.7 Download Pilot Client FSX

FSINN 1.3 and FSCopilot 1.7 Download Pilot Client FSX

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Oct 07, 2009 – In order to successfully install FSINN to work for your flight simulator so that you can fly on the SimMiles Flight Simulation network you must download FSINN 1.7 and FSCopilot 1.3. You must start the installation by installing FSCopilot 1.3 first and only after that install FSINN. You will be able to install the FSCopilot and FSINN as soon as you download them and you receive the message asking you to open or install the file. You must ensure that you download the correct version of FSINN and FSCopilot according the version of flight simulator you are using. You should also ensure that your flight simulator is not running throughout the installations of both FSINN and FSCopilot.

After you have downloaded and installed FSINN and FSCopilot you can start your Flight Simulator. In the top menu there will be a Add On Menu. From there to start FSINN you must select "Control Panel" from the sub menu. It will take a few moments for FSINN to start and for FSCopilot to set up FSINN with the correct aircraft from your list of aircraft in your flight simulator.

In order to connect to the SimMiles network you must register with a SimMiles Member Virtual Airline. You must then log into your account through this virtual airline's web site using your Pilot ID and password and dispatch your flight. When you dispatch your flight then you will have a drop down menu where you can select the network that you will be flying. If you want to fly on the SimMiles network you must select it from this drop down menu and then dispatch the flight. Note: If you do not have a flight dispatched you will not be able to connect to the SimMiles network.

Once you have dispatched your flight from your virtual airline's web site you will be able to connect to the SimMiles network. Make sure that on the FSINN settings you have entered the callsign of the flight that you are taking exactly as it shown on the dispatch page or flight tracker page. Then select the Networks sub menu in the same Settings window. Here you will be able to set up FSINN to connect to the SimMiles Flight Simulation Network. For your Network ID and Password you must use your VA Pilot ID and VA Pilot Password. For the Net input area you can call the network anything you want such as the name of your virtual airline. For the network urls you can choose between any of the following servers:

Server #1: simmiles.net
Server #2: simmiles.org
Server #3: simmiles.info

Once you are done setting up the FSINN Settings you can connect to the SimMiles network by closing the settings window and clicking on the network button in your FSINN Control Panel. Once you are connected the Network label will turn solid light green on your FSINN and you will hear a chime if you have sound. You can then minimize this control panel inside your flight simulator by clicking on the "Mini" button so that it saves space on your screen.

Once you have set up your FSINN correctly you can then click on the network with your mouse to join the network. Once you have successfully connected to the SimMiles network with your FSINN you will hear a chime and the green button on the FSINN Control Panel will turn to solid light green. At this point you are connected to the network. You can minimize the FSINN control panel by clicking on the button mCP located on the right hand navigation.

Your settings will be saved in your FSINN everytime that you load your flight simulator and FSINN. If you fly for multiple virtual airlines then you can create different accounts for each one where FSINN will allow you to do up to 3 networks with different Pilot IDs and Passwords.
