French Higher Education - The South India Admissions Tour

Oct. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- “CampusFrance” an organization created by the French Ministries of Education and Research and Foreign Affairs will be organizing an admissions tour where in reputed French educational institutions, across disciplines, will be conducting personal interviews (for admission) of Indian students desirous of pursuing higher education in France. Their mission is to promote higher education in France. CampusFrance works under guidance from the University Cooperation Service of the Embassy of France in India.

The novelty of this tour is a dedicated Web site to be launched for THE SOUTH INDIA ADMISSIONS TOUR. Indian students can apply via a simple online procedure (www.india-campusfrance.org; click on “The South India Admission Tour”) till October the 20th 2009. The visiting French institutions will then schedule appointments to meet with the students having the right profile. Students too will have the opportunity to know the institutions in advance. The interviews will be held on the above-mentioned dates and in the above-mentioned cities at the Alliance Française. The intake to a wide range of programmes (Management, Engineering, Humanities, Design and Cinema, etc.) will be for January and September 2010.

Final year students can also apply which will give them almost a whole year to prepare themselves in terms of arrangement of finance and accommodation and meeting scholarships application deadlines.

The candidates will also receive general information on the application process, funding opportunities and visa procedures during THE SOUTH INDIA ADMISSIONS TOUR. World-class institutions like ESSEC, ECOLE CENTRALE DE NANTES, INSTN are expected to be part of the tour.
