CoboCards introduces The Pool

PR Log (Press Release) – Oct 07, 2009 – For all those who dont want to create their own flashcards, CoboCards has introduced The Pool, a flashcards exchange platform where users can publish, share and easily find flashcards of others.

The Pool is open for everyone. Hence, even not-registerd internet users can search for flashcards, check their content and give comments. To import flashcards It is still necessary to create a free CoboCards account.

“To be honest, it was a lot of work. More than we supposed it would be”, says Tamim Swaid the designer of the site. “We tried out different versions, talked to specialists and our users and decided to do it this way”. In order to share flashcards users first have to specify at least the category and subcategory. It is optional to add the name of the school/university or tags.

The search engine developed by CoboCards searches all relevant data and sorts by relevance. Hence, it is very easy to find the flashcards you actually search for. “Our users have created a base of 650.000 flashcards in the past few months. And they are willing to share them with others. They love to work with CoboCards and that’s a big benefit for us”, says Ali Yildirim.
