Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has released its 13.56MHz RFID reader/writer, a compact flash device designed to read and write Mifare MF1 tags. This optimized RFID reader is commonly used for logistics, guard patrol tour, time and attendance tracking, ticketing and access control. Its compact design increases flexibility and thus facilitates the interrogation of RFID tags deployed in numerous locations. The HF flash RFID reader, model 223001, supports a maximum read distance of 3cm. It features low power consumption, light weight and a compact size. The RFID reader operates at a frequency of 134.2 KHz and provides a baud rate of 19200bps. This CF RFID device is equipped with a built-in antenna and is powered by a PDA via a CF connector. Additionally, the smart reader supports omni-directional tag reading.
