Renato believes that Kaka will be the player that Sevilla must watch when Real Madrid travel south to Andalucia Sunday evening and he is happy that Cristiano Ronaldo is not playing.
The Portuguese star is earning all the headlines at the Santiago Bernabeu for his stunning goalscoring form but he will not be playing in the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan due to injury.
Instead, Renato believes that Kaka could be the player that causes the hosts the biggest problems and he is a big fan of his Brazilian opponent.
"Ronaldo is a fundamental player for them, but one of many who will do well," he told AS.
"Without Cristiano we can beat them on set pieces because he is phenomenal at those.
"But Kaka scares me. I am not just saying that because he is my compatriot, but because he is always looking to attack and has so much quality and intelligence."
Madrid have won their first five league matches but Renato thinks that they are not as impressive as Barcelona because the team are still gelling.
"They are looking good but they do not have the same advantages as Barcelona, who already have a base," he added.
"Madird have signed many great players, but they are not used to playing together and that shows."
