The ThrillSpy International Film Festival announced it’s highly anticipated film line-up for the inaugural festival, October 7 – 10. From the best-selling “State of Play” to a FREE high-definition screening of the blockbuster thriller “Fatal Attraction,”
ThrillSpy will screen films from this year’s Cannes and Sundance film festivals, international award-winning documentaries, and debuts by local filmmakers. Festival organizer Will Gorham exclaims, “The inaugural film festival will bring together new independent filmmakers with fans and content distributors with an intense appreciation for the genre in a four-day thriller extravaganza.”
With a red carpet opening on Wednesday, October 7, the festival kicks-off with the Hollywood thriller “State of Play” starring Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck as a team of investigative reporters work alongside a police detective to “find the truth” about the murder of a congressman's mistress. ThrillSpy brings the Friday “date night” back with a free screening of the timeless thriller “Fatal Attraction” featuring Glenn Close and Michael Douglass at the Naval Heritage Theater. The Closing Awards Gala will feature the D.C. premiere of “The Champagne Spy” by Nadav Schirman. Champagne Spy is an international award winning documentary about a true "Bond-like" Cold War Spy currently being developed into a feature film. Fans will also get a sneak preview of the new thriller “Adrenaline”
