Previously located exclusively online, Tansu Asian Furniture Boutique is opening a retail location Solana Beach to showcase their most popular Indonesian furniture imports. Tansu features an exotic collection of solid teak, mahogany and acacia modern and Asian inspired furniture items. The collection is handmade in Indonesia and features durable mortise and tenon construction.
When asked why open a store now after three years owner and founder Ben Harvey had this to say. “The only complaint we have from customers is that there was no place to view our furniture. Though we’ve done our best to photograph our Asian furniture collection accurately, pictures quite simply do not do our furniture justice. The amazing finish our furniture features as well as the simple yet bold lines don’t come across well in images. In the past the only option customers had was to take our word for it. Now customers can see for themselves before purchasing.”

The new location at 722 Genevieve St. Suite D & E in Solana Beach, CA 92075. Doors open to the public August 1st, 2009 with the Grand Opening scheduled for late in September. Hours of operation are scheduled for M-F 9 am – 5 pm. The store is also open weekends and evenings on an appointment basis.
