Thomas N. Tillery, VP and CCO, of Paraklete Financial, Inc. ™ is named one of Atlanta's 2009 Five Star Wealth Managers in the October issue of Atlanta Magazine. Consumers, financial service professionals and subscribers were surveyed to find the best in client satisfaction with wealth managers in the Atlanta area. Less than 4 percent of the wealth managers made this year’s list.
Those surveyed were asked to evaluate managers based upon nine criteria: customer service, integrity, knowledge/expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting of financial objectives, post-sale service, quality of recommendations and overall satisfaction. ..

Mr. Tillery has more than 20 years of experience in financial planning, insurance, investments, philanthropy and tax planning. Tom has earned a master's degree in Financial Services from The American College, and also holds a master's degree in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds the professional designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and Chartered Retirement Planning Consulor (CRPC) (SM).
Mr. Tillery is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, and the Financial Planning Association. Tom has been a provider of Continuing Education for attorneys (CLE), accountants (CPE), and investment and insurance professionals.
He is an instructor at the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia Executive Programs and is a national instructor for CFP® Certification Examination Reviews. In addition, Tom provides continuing education for attorneys, CPAs and insurance/investment professionals. Tom is also an Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
