Spas India (SpasIndia.com) is getting ready to offer the Quality Spa Service from their PAN INDIA Presence.


Rising demand for India's outward FDI to US Spas India Pvt.Ltd plans to set up 30 spa facilities across the country over next 20 months, mostly on Operational basis and rest through franchisee model.


Operated under the brand Ambiance Spa and Aroma Spa, Ambiance Spa is for Urban /Boutique Hotels and Stand Alone Spas. Aroma Spa is for Leisure/Destination and Retreat Spas in Hotels/Resorts.


The company would set up at least 20 units at five/four/three-star hotels while the rest would come up as stand-alone facilities, according to company officials. We are also operating under the Hotels Brand Name or we would create the New Brand for the Owners.


Spas India launched its Ambiance Brand unit in Guwahati recently and would operate and establish a new brand for Surya Samudra group in India. It already operates spas in hotels and stand-alone facilities Worldwide. "As the spa industry is catching roots in India, we are looking at launching 20 facilities in prominent Indian cities over next 18 months, apart from the 20 facilities, rest would necessarily operate on franchisee model," said Spas India president Mr. Sharma.


A recent study by FICCI has suggested, the Indian wellness industry is growing at a rate of approximately 20 per cent annually and currently stands at Rs 1,500 crore. "We are looking at investing anything around Rs 1.5 Cr to 2 CR and 10 CR. to set up a unit of 3,000-10,000 square feet. The costs would remain same even if done through a franchisee," Mr. Sharma stated.


Apart from five-star hotels, the company is looking at hi-profile clubs in cities like Mumbai, Kolkatta, Delhi, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Chennai, and Bangalore to have a setup each. "The first franchisee agreement should be signed soon and the unit would be operational in six months. The required workforce would be generated through a training academy set up by the company in New Delhi," added Mr. Sharma President Spas India Pvt Ltd.


The spa business is projected to cross Rs 10 crore revenues during the 2010-11 financial year for the company while its other activities like consulting and Training is projecting Rs 3.5 crore revenues over the same period.


"We expect to generate Rs 15 crore revenues from our units annually. The facilities should be available PAN India wide in 24 months," Sharma stated.
