Niskayuna, NY – Personal injury law firm, Martin, Harding & Mazzotti's Managing Partner, Paul B. Harding raised more than $33,000 for the 2009 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year challenge. Harding’s earned donations, combined with those from this year’s Man of the Year, Harry Tutunjian, the mayor of Troy, NY, accounted for more than half the entire amount of donations brought in from all candidates during the campaign.
“I am very pleased and thankful for all of the donations we were able to secure for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society this year,” said Harding. “Everyone is a winner in this friendly competition. I hope next year’s candidates raise an even greater amount of money to help those suffering from these terrible diseases.”
“This year’s Man and Woman of the Year campaigns were complete successes,” said Maureen O’Brien Thornton, executive director of the Upstate New York/Vermont Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. “We are so proud and very grateful for Mr. Harding’s efforts and continued support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.”
The 2009 Man of the Year Program raised $135,147.75.
