State of art formula 1 car model
celebrating the first ever Formula 1 Show Run in Mumbai - Red Bull Speed Link

Mumbai, 4th October, 2009: As F1 fever grips the city with the upcoming event Red Bull Speed Link, scheduled for 11th October 2009, students from the prestigious JJ school of Arts have decided to show their enthusiasm by constructing a life size Formula 1 car made entirely out of recycled Red Bull Cans.
This magnificent work of art stands at 4 meters long, 120 cm wide, 86cm high and is made out of an astounding 1906 Red Bull cans. This marvelous can sculpture was tediously crafted and assembled by a creative team of eight first year students  - Chandrashekhar Pradeep Rane, Atul Bangal, Vishwesh P Bandarkar, Vaibhav Bansal , Li-Anne Dias, Aparna Burpalle, Madhavi Jawale, Dhanashri Chaudhari. And, all this in just 4 days, true to the speed and precision that Formula 1 stands for.
Student’s thoughts on this project -
Chandrashekhar P Rane said, “From the beginning, I was excited to see the final result because we had visualized it much before, the artwork made up of more than 1000 cans. I think this is just 0.1 % of young Indian talent, what people are seeing because of Red Bull.  I hope the car of cans encourages young India to contribute towards the field of art “

Vishwesh Banadrkar said, "I hope to become an automobile designer in the future. Working on the car of cans I realized designing and constructing are two completely challenges. This project has given our team a wonderful experience!”

Madhavi Jawale said, "The Car of Cans was not an easy task but thanks to a great team we could make this happen. I would also like to thank Red Bull for giving us this great opportunity"
Vaibhav Bansal said, "The aim behind making this car was to capture our passion for art and F1"
The Red Bull Car of Cans will be touring the city, allowing Mumbaikars to view and appreciate the creativity of the students of the JJ School of Arts. It will be displayed at these venues on the following dates:
2nd – 4th October, 2009 - Inorbit Mall, Vashi
5th – 7th October, 2009 - Inorbit Mall, Malad
8th – 10th October, 2009 – Mocha Mojo, Bandra
Catch the Red Bull Car of Cans as Mumbai prepares for the real Red Bull Racing car to arrive!
