Help To Find The Strength To Express Your Last Respects

Public Speaking expert and motivational speaker Vanessa Ugatti, talks about bereavement, the grieving process and last respects speeches.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Oct 05, 2009 – Coping with bereavement and working through the grieving process is something that plays a part in everyone’s life. Coping with the loss of a loved one is a difficult and sometimes painful process, with the days and weeks immediately after the loss being among the most emotional. With the ceremony itself coming as a natural priority, the time to grieve is often put on hold, as funeral arrangements are made and preparations for the service occur.

It is now the expected thing for those closest to the deceased to say a few words at the funeral ceremony. This can be the most challenging thing to do, with emotions running at their highest. Speaking in public, even at the best of times, is the single most common fear that people have, so add grief into the equation and the fear is even harder to overcome.

Public Speaking trainer and confidence coach, Vanessa Ugatti, began her training career, after delivering a eulogy at her own mother’s funeral, which was the very first time she had spoken in public. Over the years, Vanessa’s personal experience of bereavement has helped her understand the grieving process & the delicate art of expressing a last respect’s address.

Vanessa comments on the experience “It’s a real challenge to speak at your own mother’s funeral, but I thought if I can do that, I can do anything. Through this thought process, I empower others to do the same. Dealing with fear issues and preconceived ideas about speaking in public can pave the way to perform better and present even under very delicate and emotional conditions. It is such a rewarding feeling knowing that you have said what needed to be said to someone so close.”

Via one-to-one coaching sessions and ‘state management’ techniques, Vanessa can assist you to convey the words that you would so like to say to a loved one for the last time. Vanessa will be with you every step of the way, offering guidance and insight in how to control your emotions, be confident, clear and precise, while maintaining a personal touch with authenticity.

Vanessa continues “By changing focus while presenting, we can change our perception, even if just for a few minutes.  Therefore we can put our emotions on hold which allows us to conquer the task in hand and deliver our last respects from the heart”.
