Comfort Socks collects new socks for homeless people and families across the United States. We are a recognized 501(c)3 public charity and seek a person or organization with a heart to champion our cause. The Celebrity, Athlete or Foundation should be willing donate their time and tell how socks drives are an easy way to help others, even in these tough economic times.
Socks are an essential part of a homeless persons health and well being, but our mission is one of comfort. It simply feels good to put on warm socks, and Comfort Socks believes that this small token of comfort of love and caring can help heal a person going through a tough time.
There are many ways that socks can be collected, sock tickets to a concert or sporting event, speaking at schools and universities, media and television exposure.
Comfort Socks is grateful for it's many supporters nationwide and hope this press release finds its way to the Celebrity, Athlete or Foundation willing to step forward and help us make a difference. We are grateful for any amount of time, great or small, that the person or organization can give.
