People who want to lose weight should listen to KSTL 690 AM October 8 at 12:45 p.m. CST and tune into Get Fit 4 Christ, a new, weekly radio show that will help them shed those unwanted pounds God’s Way.
Hosted by Personal Trainer and Get Fit 4 Christ Author, Lyle Johnson, the 15-minute show will feature a mix of advice, interviews with guest experts, and myth-busting explorations of the truth about various religion, fitness, weight loss and nutrition topics. The host pulls no punches, giving straightforward fitness advice and useful insights.
Johnson is a certified personal trainer and owner of St. Louis-based MVP Fitness. Johnson conducts fitness workshops and runs the popular MVP Boot Camp. He holds a Personal Training Certification from Cooper Institute and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grambling State University.
Johnson motivates people to strengthen their spiritual and physical bodies in his new book, Get Fit 4 Christ. The book empowers people to take charge of their lives and focus themselves through scripturally based meditations, prayer and action. The book also includes a 30-minute exercise DVD.
“I want to help people make lifestyle changes that will produce long lasting benefits and not just quick fixes,” says Johnson. “I excited to be able to help people deal with the weight problems they are facing.”
Airing each Thursday at 12:45 p.m. CST beginning October 8, the Get Fit 4 Christ radio show will also be available on the web at www.690kstl.com. Upcoming shows will focus on topics including spiritual fitness, bible study, nutrition, fitness and how to manage your life better.
