- Melbourne, Australia - John Weeks of Spectrum FM Radio & Entertainment Productions in Australia is playing CASHnCHECKS on his radio show. Although the fabulous duet team of Deanna and James have released their single from the "One More Night" album called Country Girl, it is the more traditional duet sound from the new album that the Aussie's are liking very much. The track from the latest album that is getting the most action in Australia is titled Tall Lover Man.
Tall Lover Man is a song that was penned by June Carter Cash. The song first appeared with a Spanish flavor to it in 1964 under the Columbia flag. June sang the song as a solo however she had always meant the song to be sung as a duet for her and JR, but they never did do it together. It wasn't until April 2003 that it appeared in its present form with more of a traditional country music sound on June's "Press On" album, but still as a solo. James Paycheck was given the demo track of the song with June singing to an orchestra of acoustic guitars, upright bass, and someone beating on a cardboard box for percussions. CASHnCHECKS chose to cover the marvelous forgotten song in their latest album and their version of this song is astounding. They have captured the feeling and emotion of the song and the story perfectly.
Spectrum FM Radio broadcasts from Belgrave, Victoria, Australia.  Belgrave is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 35 km east from Melbourne's central business district. Its Local Government Area is the Shire of Yarra Ranges.
The latest and best album yet from the famous duet CASHnCHECKS is gaining momentum and recognition throughout Australia and the fans are requesting their appearance there with a fever! A management stall has delayed the couples planned visit down under, however talks are in the wind that they will be satisfying the crowds many appeals soon.
"Darlin' Companion" is another June Carter Cash / Johnny Cash song that is on the "One More Night" CASHnCHECKS album. This song was written by the Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee John Sebastian and performed by JR and June at a concert in San Quentin State Prison in 1969. The original producer was Bob Johnston. Although the tempo is modified slightly and it has been given the tweak of modern instruments, the cover of the song is as close to original as possible. CASHnCHECKS do this number in true dedication to the original while adding their distinct sound to it. The harmonies are very reminiscent of CASHnCHECKS style with amazing harmonies.
There are two songs on the current CASHnCHECKS album that were written by the famous writing team of John Rich and Gretchen Wilson. The ex bass player and singer from the band Lonestar has grown into a very sought after song writer in Nashville along with his sometime writing partner Gretchen Wilson.
The names listed and associated with this album are a powerhouse of talent and recognition that separates it from your average country album. CASHnCHECKS has sure hit a home run this time and we shall see if the fans agree as record sales continue to grow.
