Dengler Demolition successfully demolished and removed a large enclosed pedestrian bridge between two buildings at a private school in Haddonfield New Jersey. The pedestrian bridge was used to move students and faculty between two buildings. The school closed down one of the buildings it was connected to and slated pedestrian bridge for demolition. After it was determined that the structure did not contain any asbestos or any other environmental hazards, the demolition process began. After all the utilties were terminated within the structure Dengler's crew removed all the sheetrock, roofing and wood framing exposing the steel structure. The steel structure was then cut and lowered to the ground using a Grove hydraulic rough terrain crane and a JLG 80ft. Hydraulic Man Lift. Once the steel structure was lowered to the surface, Dengler worker's cut it down to size and loaded it into trailers for delivery to the recycling center. All this was accomplished while school was in session and 400 students plus faculty occupied the school, with no disturbance to their daily activities. Dengler Demolition accomplished an 80% recycling rate on this project. http://www.denglerdemolition.com/
