PRLog (Press Release) - Oct 03, 2009 -
Snowboarding Zone has just released a new section of their website that has all of the basics on Sims Snowboard. This is part of a new community website that is all about Sims Snowboard. Members and non-members can visit this Sims Snowboard page on the Snowboarding Zone website for free at: http://snowboardingzone.org.

Here is an excerpt from the new Sims Snowboard information webpage:

"Sims offers women’s snowboards that are specifically designed with their lighter and smaller frames in mind.  The snowboards themselves are narrower, designed for smaller feet and better fit. The lighter weight helps with the versatility and maneuverability of the snowboard; however, they can have more progressive cuts and be made out of more advanced materials which in turn allow women to keep up with the men, if they want.  Just because the snowboards may be made differently doesn’t mean that the women’s boards are lower quality than a man’s board.  Snowboard manufacturers have to take into account several different things when designing boards for the two different sexes and they understand that women are just as competitive as  men in this sport.  So, remember, just because you are using a women’s snowboard, doesn’t mean that the quality has been sacrificed in any way.

Sims snowboards seems to be limited in the sizing options that are available per snowboard.  Yes, a few may be offered in three different sizes; however, many of the snowboards are either offered in only one size or two.  This could hinder someone’s performance level if they settle for a snowboard that is less than the optimum size for their frame and in turn, could be costing Sims sales."

There is plenty of more information on the new general information Snowboarding website that can be found by visiting: http://snowboardingzone.org . There is also a special going on now that allows members to gain access to free ebooks and other free materials just for signing up as a member of the snowboard website for free at: http://snowboardingzone.org. Users should check back often to the Snowboarding general page as more information will be added as the website expands and grows.
