Eventing is an international sport which is considered by many as an equestrian triathlon. Eventing consists of three separate phases in which a horse and rider compete: Dressage, cross-country and show jumping. The USEA based in Leesburg, VA is the National Association that oversees recognized eventing competitions nationwide.
