(October 2009) San Bernardino, California – Design and construction have been completed ahead of schedule and under budget for Inland Regional Center’s new office campus located at 1365, 1395, and 1425 South Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino, California. The Inland Regional Center campus, situated on 12.1 acres within the Waterman Business Park, is owned and developed by California Housing Foundation (www.chfcares.com)

Building One houses IRC’s administrative staff, with interiors consisting mainly of private offices shared by case workers as well as open office area. Building Two consists of private offices for use and assessment of consumers from infants to adults. Additionally, Buildings One and Two features two large conference rooms per floor that can each accommodate 20 people. The first floor of each building includes a large employee break room with kitchen capabilities, which opens to the campus’ interior courtyard. The interior courtyard is fully landscaped and contains a meandering water feature and fountain. Building Three includes a consumer library, large assembly room, and employee training rooms.

About California Housing Foundation
Founded in 1998, the mission of the California Housing Foundation (CHF) is to develop a permanent inventory of safe, affordable, and comfortable homes for persons with developmental disabilities. CHF owns 19 homes, and is busily creating plans for developing more. In addition to assisting Inland Regional Center, CHF works with other California Regional Centers in a similar capacity. CHF also provides eligible customers of IRC with grants of up to $5,000 to live independently for the first time. So far, $750,000 has been provided to 200+ consumers.
