Innovation is becoming a common buzzword these days in the development halls of most product companies, but putting it into practice can be a daunting task. To this end, Kablooe Design has created the D3 Process (Design Driven Development)
The International Automotive Body Congress will be holding it's 2009 symposium in Troy, Michigan November 4th and 5th, and Mr. KraMer will be opening the event with this overview discussion on the development process. Automotive leaders from Nissan, GM, Toyota, Honda and Chrysler will be in attendance and contributing to the symposium as well.
"The aim of this lecture is to foster an understanding of why the need for a comprehensive and holistic development process is so great" KraMer says. He will identify many of the common pitfalls in current product development processes today, and dispel some myths around the role of Design in the process. "The D3 Process identifies some of the 'black box' areas of the process, and puts them in the proper order, along with all of the other essential elements necessary for successful product development"
KraMer's company, Kablooe Design, developed and uses this process for it's clients to turn opportunities and emerging ideas and technologies into working products that successfully meet the company's goals. Over the last 18 years Kablooe has synergized it's product development experiences to create the D3 process. "It's a way for developers to know that they are on track, and that their efforts are being economized while delivering maximum output. This is what creates the room and the opportunities for innovation in the proper places in the process" KraMer stated.
The symposium takes place November 4-5, 2009 at the Michigan State University Management & Education Center, 811 W Square Lake Rd. Troy, MI 48098. For more information visit the website at www.bodycongress.com .
