October 2009, we begin the first leg of the “Back In Session Tour - Powered By Digiwaxx!” featuring Platinum Superstar recording artist Mims and special guests Skatterman & Snug Brim. Also performing in select markets RaiderDave, Whitney Peyton, Big Co and newcomer Courtney Argue. Live music is about a pulse and this package will not disappoint! We are taking it back to the basics with Hip-Hop 101 and school is “Back in Session”!
Mims made his debut with the single “This is Why I'm Hot". The song became a smash hit, reaching #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the U.S. Billboard Pop 100 thanks to massive amounts of digital downloads, leading to the single's eventual Platinum Certification from the RIAA. The song also met positive reviews. After the great success of the single, released his debut album “Music is My Savior”, under the imprint "American King Music". During the summer of 2007, Mims released his second single, “Like This". The song became a hit on the radio after reaching #32 on the U.S. Hot 100 chart. Also released from the album was “Just Like That” The album was released soon after, charting at #4 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
Mims released his second effort on April 7, 2009, titled "Guilt". In October 2008, “Move if You Wanna” became the first official single from Mims' new album, peaking at #63 on the Hot 100 charts. The second single was released to radio alongside his album on April 7, 2009, entitled “Love Rollercoaster” featuring “Latoya Luckett”.  Mims is now preparing for his first ever headline tour with over 23 cities confirmed as of press time, Mims is ready to give the fans an opportunity to see the other side of the young Hip Hop phenom.

With the duo's second release, Skatterman & Snug Brim understood that, the Word on the Streets comes from those seldom seen but often heard, urban legends carry with them an undeniable mystique. The critically acclaimed second album, high powered “Word On The Streets”, delivers information from a street-level perspective.  “Our album is no filler, no smoke, no mirrors.  It’s that authentic music.” “Word on the Streets” features appearances by Paul Wall, Tech N9ne, The Popper, Rich the Factor, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, BG Bulletwound and former G-Unit icon, Young Buck.

With a new label "Bigg Shot Music and Films" and new distribution, Skatterman & Snug Brim are getting set to release several new projects in the upcoming months beginning with the highly anticipated Mixtape "The Cook Book". The duo have over 350 show appearances under their belts with such notables as Tech N9ne, Cassidy, Twista, Too Short, Paul Wall, Kottonmouth Kings, Yukmouth and more.
