Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Traditional dishes from Cuba, Mexico and Brazil, plus new culinary Latin creations will spice up Atlantic Station on October 17th, with DeGustar, a Latin taste of Atlanta event by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GHCC).
At least 25 restaurants, caterers and markets are expected to participate. Among them are Coco Loco, Frontera, Fuego Mundo, Lucianos, Lime Taqueria, Machu Pichu, Pampas, Palomillas, Rosa Mexicano, Sal Grosso, Sal Grosso Bakery, Tia Maria Bakery and Machu Pichu.
DeGustar will include exciting and participatory activities such as the People’s Choice Awards for first, second and third place dishes, voted on by those who attend.
Latin rhythms will be provided by PR Productions, while basketball and hockey fans will enjoy the interactive fun of the Hawks and Thrashers Street Tour.
This one day event will take place in the Central Park Area of Atlantic Station from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm.
Event sponsors are Atlantic Station, Diaz Foods, Gas South, Georgia Restaurant Association, Norsan Group, The Coca-Cola Company and Wal-Mart.
