UK Energy Saving first launched the Energy Saving Calculator over two years ago but the Company endeavours to keep the information as up to date as possible, providing consumers with at-a-glance facts and figures to help in making decisions about energy saving measures. Hayley Jones, Web Marketing Director at UK Energy Saving, explains further. “There are so many energy saving measures for the home that it can be difficult to know where to start. That shouldn’t be an excuse for doing nothing, however, and we hope that the Energy Saving Calculator will continue to assist householders to work out where to start and how to go on to make bigger savings!”
The Energy Saving Calculator is broken down into four sections to make it easier to navigate. The bronze calculator covers energy saving tips which don’t cost anything to implement, the silver calculator includes measures which cost £100 or less, the suggestions of the gold calculator require a higher level of investment, and the platinum calculator covers renewable energy options. An illustrated and a tabular guide are provided in each case providing easy-to-navigate information for visitors.
