Home Loan Specialists, Inc., a Houston-based mortgage lender specializing in low rate home loans and mortgage refinancing, today announced the hiring of Dana Farrar as Marketing Associate. Ms. Farrar will be coordinating the firm’s client and intermediary marketing activities including the Blue Ribbon Agent Realtor marketing program and the UniteChampions.com virtual community.

Blue Ribbon Agents is an initiative designed to assist Realtors in maximizing their exposure while minimizing out of pocket costs. It combines a web-based virtual marketing center with live workshops, conference calls, and one-on-one coaching to help agents gain more listings, turn more prospects into clients, and monopolize neighborhoods. UniteChampions.com is a web-based neighborhood community site that combines social networking, online classifieds, business listings, and community news for the Champions and Champion Forest communities in Spring, TX.

Ms. Farrar is a Houston resident and graduate of the University of Iowa, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion. She also completed post-graduate studies at the University of Houston. She held previous positions with the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Reliant Energy.
