Hard Rock Nights, the weekly syndicated radio program, welcomes two special guests on its next episode: Mason Keck from Jive Mother Mary, and Trae Vedder from Death on Two Wheels.
Jive Mother Mary, an outfit from North Carolina, has just independently released their debut full-length album “All Fall Down” in August. The group, made up of three high school seniors, has been playing professionally for over 2 years and has clocked in over 150 shows. Heavily influenced by the classic rock of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, the band attracted the attention of producer John Custer (Corrosion of Conformity, Cry of Love). Lead singer and guitarist Keck will speak about the album, his favorite cuts as opposed to the fan favorites, and his guitar setup.
Death On Two Wheels, hailing from the Atlanta area, has put out “Separation of Church and Fate,” an eclectic record drawing from a variety of musical influences. Reviewer Jaan Uhelszki of Paste Magazine says the band “makes rock ‘n’ roll dangerous again, with slurry-blurry lyrics, half-cocked dreamspeak of portents and regret, and a formidable guitar attack that recalls the nasty duels Allen Collins waged with Gary Rossington before Skynyrd’s final plane ride.” Vedder, who “has the same grit and red clay in his voice that Chris Robinson had before he got famous and complacent,”
