PR Log (Press Release) – Sep 30, 2009 – Many people have read books and  attended seminars on goal setting, yet less than three percent actually write them down.  Even if they do write them down they put them away some where and forget about them.  Julianne Rowat, CEO of Ultimate Wealth From Home read a book by Brian Tracy and came up with seven reasons why people don’t set goals whether in life or in their internet business.

One:  People are just not serious enough.  Their big talkers but not doers.  They just don’t have the burning desire it takes to become successful. You can’t just talk about what your going to do, you have to take action.

Two:  People have not yet taken responsibly for their lives.  They will continually come up with excuses for their failure which depletes all their creative energy.

Three:  People feel they are not worthy enough for success.  They’ve been mentally and emotionally raised in a negative environment.  They feel like, “What’s the use?”.

Four:  People don’t realize the real importance of goal setting.  They were raised in a family that didn’t set goals, so therefore it’s not important to them.

Five:  People just don’t know how. You can learn a great deal of education in school, but nothing about goal setting.

Six:  People are afraid of rejection, of criticism.  It’s easier just to go along with everyone else, than to be laughed at.  No one wants to sound like a fool with outrageous dreams, or goals.

Seven:  The biggest reason of all, is fear of failure. It’s easier just to play it safe, than fail. The one thing to remember is, “It is impossible to succeed without failing!”  Think of how many times Edison failed, without his final success we would have no light.
