From the creation of the world's finest Altai Cashmere socks, to the weaving of the most lustrous Baby Altai Cashmere scarf, Moxon's development of the world's most luxurious Tweed truly is a testament to Great Britain's arduous history in the creation of products which inspire.
The Moxon Island Tweed, which is a composition of two very different yarns, of which 50% is Great British wool, which has given the Tweed its characteristic ruggedness and durability, and 50% Super 180's wool, which breathes Moxon's 'raison d'etre' into this particular Tweed. It has been handcrafted using Moxon's unique antiquated manufacturing process, which has changed very little since cloth manufacturing began, and scoured in Moxon's traditional wooden machines, which complement wool’s natural, healthy characteristics. The luxury Tweed, which is created in several designs, achieves a harmonious balance of weight, volume and softness resulting in a phenomenal drape. According to Firas Chamsi-Pasha, Moxon's Managing Director, speaking at its release, this Tweed is the definition of enduring luxury: "Usually something so precious must be treated as such, but this Tweed is more than likely to outlive its owner, and be passed down several generations as a symbol of enduring British luxury."
