College Park Rotary Club Hosts Blood Drive

Florida’s Blood Centers and the Rotary Club of College Park invite you to donate blood on Thursday, October 15th from 7am – 1pm at The Taproom at Dubsdread (located at 549 W. Par St.). Blood donations help save the lives.

Heroes Needed in Central Florida

    Central Florida needs a few heroes, could it be you?  Florida’s Blood Centers and the Rotary Club of College Park invite you to donate blood on Thursday, October 15th at Dubsdread Golf Course.  Giving blood is simple and takes under an hour. All donors receive a mini physical, including cholesterol, iron and blood glucose screening.

    Blood is in great demand, and The Big Red Bus will be parked in front of the Tap Room at Dubsdread.  Blood donations help save the lives of trauma and emergency patients, cancer patients, and those with leukemia.  To learn more about eligibility requirements for blood donation, please visit www.floridasbloodcenters.org

When:  Thursday, October 15th from 7:00am to 1:00pm
Where:  The Tap Room at Dubsdread (549 W. Par St.)
Who:  Any person who has ever considered giving blood.  Donors can be as young as 16 (with parental permission) and should weigh at least 102 pounds.  There is no upper age limit.  Donors must have a photo ID.
