‘Star Coaches’ recruited to join online talent contest: 1Click2Fame

Sept. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Britain’s largest online talent contest, 1Click2Fame have taken on the support of top entertainment industry professionals to help guide the competitors who have uploaded their talent auditions and are battling it out within the competition.

Dancers, singers, comedians and a huge range of variety acts across the UK have been uploading their auditions for the chance to win prizes to help them progress their career, and now competitors also have the chance to get invaluable advice from the new ‘Star Coaches’.

To help singers 1Click2Fame have chosen world renowned vocal coach Stevie Lange. Stevie has recorded and gigged with the likes of Elton John, Queen and Wham as well as performing with other stars such as Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Having turned her hand to vocal coaching, Stevie has trained acts such as Paolo Nutini, Girls Aloud, Robbie Williams, Jamie Cullum, The Sugababes and many more.

Giving valuable feedback on the dance auditions will be Star Coach Kate Prince. Best known for her choreography within the massively successful West End musical ‘Into the hoods’, Kate also runs leading hip hop dance company ZooNation, who have performed at prestigious events such as the Beijing Olympic Games, the opening ceremony of the Tour De France and Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Celebration. As a member of the board of Dance UK, Kate plays an integral part in modern and urban dance in the UK. ZooNation have already been involved with coaching sessions for 1Click2Fame dancers and Kate’s direct involvement online and through training sessions is really adding to the buzz of the talent competition and improving performances.

To give 1Click2Fame acts a head start in the industry, Alex Donelly will be unveiling insider industry knowledge and educating performers on processes and techniques they can use to get them noticed. Alex has worked as head of music at Radio 1, was senior vice president at EMI and now works at the Academy of Contemporary Music. Heavily involved in the signing and development of Amy Winehouse and other major acts, Alex’s eye for talent will be put to good use scouting out the best of the talent within this new music competition.

Competitors whose talent auditions impress the Star Coaches will also be labelled as the “Ones to Watch”.  Tips and chats with the star coaches will be updated monthly throughout the online talent contest, while constructive comments will be added weekly. Enabling direct contact with such highly influential and experienced industry professionals is sure to help guide and support the young talent acts in the completion.

1Click2Fame has already given out over £150,000 worth of prize money through weekly, monthly and yearly competitions. The online talent competition is completely free to enter and competitors win prizes by accumulating votes from visitors who judge their performances.
