Get your house in order with Building Information Modelling – courtesy of CADline

CADline, the CAD training specialists, are helping businesses to find out how to improve their workflow with Building Information Modelling at their exclusive BIM technical seminar.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep 30, 2009 -
Those hit hardest by the faltering construction industry were largely those who were least prepared. The reason some businesses are still winning work is that they were prepared and began migrating to Building Information Modelling (BIM) two years ago.  Now, CADline, the CAD training specialists, are helping businesses to find out how to improve their workflow with Building Information Modelling at their exclusive BIM technical seminar.

As civil engineering and major infrastructure projects continue unabated, clients are increasingly demanding that their projects are designed and delivered in 3D, bringing digital continuity to the multiple design and construction tasks.  More than this, building information modelling (BIM) is helping architects and engineers to optimise designs with analysis, simulation and visualisation, helping them predict the outcome of their projects long before they are ever built.

Even where 3D delivery is not yet mandatory, the ability of architects to incorporate BIM into their projects is helping them work more closely with other disciplines. Ultimately, using interoperable solutions on a single model is leading to an organic collaboration that is streamlining entire projects.

Debi Peppin, Director at CADline, the leading provider of AutoCAD software and AutoCAD training courses, said “We are delighted to offer two free BIM technical seminars which will be run by our industry specialists.  These will be held in Ashford, Middlesex on 29th September and 15th October 2009 between 9.30am and 2.30pm.  In addition to a general overview we will be providing a technical session covering areas such as designing your site with external survey information, working from conceptual to design and documentation and working with live sections, elevations and perspectives.”

Autodesk’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) solution is based on coordinated, data-rich models created with Autodesk Revit-based products.  BIM solutions enable businesses to experience their project’s key physical and functional characteristics digitally – before they are even built.

Debi added, “To outline the ways in which Autodesk’s BIM based construction tools – such as Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D and Autodesk Navisworks can help your firm to explore, validate and communicate its creative ideas and win business, we invite you to one of the free CADline technical seminars.  The seminars will be held in small groups so participants can speak directly with our application engineers in an intimate, non-sales environment. As every one of CADline’s 20 engineers is from industry, you will be hearing from people who understand your goals and challenges.”
