Dr. Lauren, a practicing psychotherapist, critical incident counselor, award-winning author and comedic scholar, will be performing her one woman show, "HALT THE INSANITY - A Shrink Speaks Out!", on October the 16th, at the St. Lawrence Center for the Arts, 8-9:30 pm. Tickets and donations can be purchased and made at the Center's web site, www.stlc.com or at the door on the night of the show. Dr. Lauren is contributing, without fee, her writing and performing skills to this benefit for patients with pancreatic cancer. With some luck and coverage, her Canadian contingent hope it will evolve into a national tour, thus bringing more awareness to this killer cancer.
Another Canadian export, Dr. Lauren serves as a consultant and therapist for CEOs, super athletes, top Hollywood actors, and American and Canadian politicians. This, while applying her training as a trauma expert and critical incident counselor at ( 9/11)), airline disasters, bombings, in war zones and at school shootings. Dr. Lauren believes that her work as an "educator-entertainer"
